About Pscholar

Pscholar is an independent psychiatry education platform: single best answer questions and clinical stations for doctors and medical students learning psychiatry.

Who we are

Pscholar is built and run by a team of two psychiatrists in Saudi Arabia. It is an independent project, now in a trial run.

What it offers

868 single best answer questions in 30 psychiatry categories, written to 670 learning objectives, every answer explained and referenced to the textbook.
70 clinical stations, practised alone or with a colleague who marks you on their phone.
A report after every session: your progress over time, every learning objective, and what to work on next.
A study plan from your books and your days, with questions on each day's reading.

How every question is made

One learning objective Each question tests one thing a psychiatrist should be able to do. Its strongest wrong option is the mistake people actually make.
From the textbook Every fact comes from a named textbook or guideline, cited by chapter and often by page.
Checked against a written standard One best answer, plausible options, and nothing in the wording that gives the answer away.
Approved by a psychiatrist No question goes live without it.
Corrected when reported Every question has a Report a problem button, and each report reaches us.
